Lights to be fixed down Mill Lane

Last night, the Executive of Bracknell Forest Council approved the Highways & Transport Capital Programme for 2024/25 – the first capital programme of this new Labour administration. We approved just over £1 million to repair the lights down Mill Lane later this coming financial year.

Why so much? Well, it’s a complex system, and the nature of the fault is such that the whole thing needs to be replaced. I know this is excellent news for all the drivers who have been so patient. The work is likely to start later in the financial year given all the background work we need to carry out, but once details are agreed on its repair, we’ll put out lots of notices.
