Clive Temperton
It is my very sad duty to report the death of one of our stalwart members, Clive Temperton.
Clive, for those who didn’t know, was a renowned meteorologist and the author of several distinguished academic papers. He was also one of our longest-standing members and his devotion to the Labour Party throughout the decades has been second to none. He served on Bracknell Town Council for several terms and, with Mary, walked hundreds of miles canvassing and leafleting. He gave limitless support to his wife, Mary, and I’m sure she would be the first to agree that they made an unbeatable team. He was a quiet, unassuming man, whose knowledge of the Party was second to none. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Clive and his passing will leave an enormous void in all our lives.
Please join me in offering our sincerest condolences to Mary and their children, Anna and Ben, as they begin to come to terms with their loss.
I will circulate details of the funeral arrangements once they are available.
Kind regards.
Roy
