I always enjoy seeing so many residents at our regular litter picks. We often get told it is a shame we need to do it as a result of the people who drop the litter, but it is a great way to spend a few hours, taking pride in and tidying up our community. It can be quite therapeutic! It can be quite surprising what we collect – clothing, car parts, full bottles, dog poo bags…and everything in between! People passing say thank you and it’s wonderful to have so many willing volun-teers to help. We advertise the Community Litter Picks in Great Holland’s Matters, so keep an eye out and join us when you can!
